Following the launch of this new series, Handpicked Collection 4 is our latest release, showcasing irresistible projects by twelve exceptional creators, featuring work by much-loved designers alongside rising stars in the embroidery world.

Each project is superbly presented complete with step-by-step instructions to guide you through the process of re-creating each design.

‘The Handpicked Collection 4’ features the following projects:

• Dandelions & Buttercups by Jane Nicholas - Stumpwork study of dandelions and buttercups with a butterfly in shades of copper and blue.
• Great Escape by Jenny McWhinney - Blanket with a cheerful scene of a little rabbit chasing butterflies, distracted by a grasshopper friend.
• Kelmscott by Louise Spriggs - Workbox, pincushion and scissor sheath with scrolling stems of brightly coloured lilies and berries.

• Paradise Lost by Helen Richman - Crewel cushion featuring a glorious bird on a flowering branch and finished with a twisted cord trim.
• Samarkand by Margaret Lee - Richly beaded table mat with goldwork inspired by the architecture of an ancient city.
• Simple Fare by Maria Rita Faleri - Table runner with knotted tassels and geometric design worked using Catherine de’ Medici stitch.
• Superb Fairy Wren by Trish Burr - Much-loved wren with vivid plumage depicted in surface embroidery with blossoms and foliage.
• The Noble Oak by Di Kirchner - Three-dimensional, life-like acorns and oak leaves combined to create a fabulous brooch.
