The tweed looks great, and it's a nice blend of fibres. I bought the alabaster, and the colour doesn't look like the picture... this is a blue/grey, but still looks pretty. And it seems much thinner than an 8ply. I ended up knitting 2 strands, one of a different brand to get the ply and colour I was after.
