This is a fantastic little device and after using it for some time now, I can understand why so many recommend it. It is so much easier, helpful, and convenient to batch thread 10 needles (with a threader) and have them ready to go, opposed to threading them individually. I can see how and why it would be invaluable for travelling, but I use it all the time. The dome (top) of the case clips to the bottom so you have one 'unit' and don't have to worry about a 'floating' lid. It comes with printed and easy to understand instructions, feels like it is well made and will last, and is thoughtfully designed. All characteristics I've come to expect from Clover. I find there is a little bit of space between the lid and the case when closed, so I keep a Clover needle threader, which includes a tiny blade for snipping threads, with the case (the one improvement I would make). All in all a notion I find so useful, I suggested a second one as a gift.
