Highly pigmented artist grade colours suspended in a water soluble, cold pressed linseed oil. Excellent lightfast ratings similar to that of traditional oil colour and is compatible with all media including traditional oil colour, watercolour, acrylic, gouache and acryla gouache.
When mixing DUO with traditional oil colour, water solubility will be lost when exceeding 30% traditional oil colour in the mixture.
DUO can be thinned and cleaned up with water. All the handling qualities and buttery feel of Holbein Artist Oil Colour but safer and easier to use. Eliminates the odour of solvents in the studio by allowing you to clean brushes, palette etc. with soap and water.
