Only the very finest pigments are selected for making Charvin colors. The color makers at Charvin expertly and slowly produce the oil color to insure that the product will have a true character and lovely finish. All the toxic and caustic pigments are removed, replaced with modern, safe pigments of the highest quality and permanence. It is this dedication to detail and the hands-on approach that make this oil color one of the world's greatest. It is perfect for any application from glazing to alla prima, still life, and abstract. The life like colors are especially suited to plein aire painting.
