Jasart Round Wooden Boards have a solid 4mm solid birchwood top on an MDF base, which is 19mm in depth. The surface is sanded smooth and is natural and unprimed.
Ideal for a variety of applications including painting, drawing, mixed media, presentation or craft, the Jasart round wooden panels won’t flex or stretch when your media is applied.
They can be used in their natural state, but can also be primed with an acrylic gesso, to add more tooth to the surface for your acrylic, oil or gouache paint to adhere to.
The round shape of the Jasart wooden panels makes them a unique surface to work on and adds another dimension to your art. Work over the 23mm edge of the panel to extend your piece beyond the traditional surface.
