Green ivy protectively encircles an angel turned to stone centuries ago, as she in turn stands guard over an enchanted garden, a pale pink sash forever fluttering at her waist. The drapery borders at her feet create a sampler effect, complete with mother-of-pearl buttons and fine white ribbon.

The Design area of this pattern is approximately 9 1/2" x 23 1/2" (24.1 x 59.7 cm) when stitched 2 over 2 on 32 count White Linen. The stitch count is 150w x 375h.

Required materials to complete this project are as follows:

• DMC floss: White (4), 223, 224, 225, 317, 451 (2), 452 (3), 453 (3), 646, 762 (3), 793, 822, 930, 931, 932, 3023, 3024, 3747, 3753 & 3756.
• Beads by Mill Hill: 02015.
• Waterlilies by Caron: Fir & Pasticcio Nut.
• Mother of Pearl Buttons 3/4" size (2).
• Fine White Ribbon (4mm) - 1 1/2 yd.
